The campaign finance reports were filed before the Dec. 15 reporting deadline at the Miami County Board of Elections.

The Citizens for the Miami County Parks reported spending $14,562 since the pre-election reports filed in October. The pre-election report showed $3,330 had been spent for advertising signs and radio ads. Voters Nov. 8 approved the park district request for a 1.5-mill, 10-year replacement levy with increase. The levy will generate $3,417,486 a year or around $900,000 more than the district's current levy.

Post-election finance reports were filed by the four candidates for the board of education: incumbent Frank Maus, Joellen Heatherly, Corine Doll and Eric Windeknecht.

Doll and Heatherly were elected to the board.

Maus in his report listed no contributions and no money spent on the campaign.

The Committee to Elect Doll reported $460 brought forward from her pre-election report and spending the $460 to repay debt to Michael Doll for shirts, balloons and signs. The report also included a statement of outstanding debts showing $1,283 owed for shirts, signs and balloons to Michael Doll. The report listed the $460 repayment and noted the outstanding balance was forgiven.

The Committee to Elect Heatherly for Tipp School Board reported $1,200 in contributions from several individuals and $1,999.30 spent for thank you cards, stamps, campaign handouts, T-shirts, stickers and yard signs and advertising on Facebook.
