Sheriff Reports for the week of January 4, 2017



Friday, December 30

12:43 p.m. - To N. Main St. for a report of a disturbance. A man reported that his wife had broken the back window. He said that they were arguing, but it did not turn physical. The wife denied breaking the window. She said that he had been drinking and that he got upset when she started to leave and the arguing began. No charges were filed.


Sunday, January 1

5:18 p.m. - To N. Main St. for a report of a domestic dispute. A woman reported that her boyfriend had been verbally abusive ot her. She said that he was highly intoxicated and was yelling at her. She said that there were no threats and nothing physical took place. While speaking with her, the deputy noted that she also was highly intoxicated. The boyfriend said that the RP was talking down to him, and after several hours he had enough and yelled at her. Both were advised that if they could not handle their issues like adults, then they needed to avoid each other for the evening.


Monday, January 2

9:09 p.m. - To Coppock Rd. for a report of a man who had been knocked unconscious. Upon arrival, it was reported that three individuals were having a discussion when one became agitated at the others. He had walked into another room, turned and unintentionally walked into a support post, lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Union Twp. EMS transported him to the hospital. There were no claims of any domestic disputes or violence.
