Sunday, January 1

12:13 a.m. - Traffic stop on Ziegler Rd. at Rt. 66. The driver was arrested for OVI, open container and marked lanes.

11:20 p.m. - Traffic stop on Washington Rd. at Fairfax Ave. The driver was taken into custody and charged with OVI, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and marked lanes.


Tuesday, January 3

11:28 a.m. - Traffic stop on Snodgrass Rd. at Springcreek Rd. A plastic bag containing a brown powdery substance was located in the vehicle, along with some marijuana. The passenger admitted the power substance was hers and she identified it as heroin. She also admitted ownership of the marijuana. She was charged with possession of marijuana. The powder was sent to the Regional Crime Lab for analysis.


8:38 p.m. - Traffic stop on Farrington Rd. at Experiment Farm Rd. The vehicle had only one operating headlight, and the driver said that when she turns on her high beam lights, one of them goes out. The driver was also found to have a suspended license. The passenger was also under suspension. The driver was cited for driving under suspension and a family member was called to take control of the vehicle.


9:26 p.m. - Traffic stop on Sherry Dr. at 25A. The vehicle had only one working headlight and no license plate light. The driver said he was under suspension and did not have his driving privileges with him. He said that he was outside of his privileges anyway. He was cited for driving under suspension and a headlight violation. His passenger took control of the vehicle.
