The Troy Fire Department has announced that Aaron Simmons has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Simmons began his career with the Troy Fire Department on May 5, 2002.
He is a graduate of Tippecanoe High School and later graduated from Bluffton University with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management.
Lieutenant Simmons is an Ohio Certified Level II Firefighter, Paramedic, and Fire Safety Inspector. He is also a Certified Fire and Explosive Investigator.
He and his wife, Nicole, have four children.
